Storehouse
To donate items for Storehouse please call the church office on 01344 487744.
The Storehouse is not a jumble sale/table top sale, just for the church to feed the churches or a money/profit making enterprise.
The Storehouse is a practical, economic Christian action for the local community, for anyone and everyone to give and/or take away and it is all FREE.
Storehouse was born in 1994 after someone at the church had a vivid picture. Simply put this picture was a vision of a very large warehouse, containing all manner of clothes and household items which through one door people came and gave and through another door, people came to collect. The words "For Free" were emblazoned across the building. In 2002 Storehouse was featured on Meridian Tonight. We run Storehouse twice a year.
The Storehouse is a practical, economic Christian action for the local community, for anyone and everyone to give and/or take away and it is all FREE.
You can donate in bags please, clean, appropriate and serviceable men's/ women's/ boys'/ girls' clothing (including toddlers and babies), along with household items (towels, sheets, toys etc.) that you no longer need or use. Please bring these neatly and clearly labelled 'Storehouse', to the church office at South Hill Road, Bracknell. (If you cannot carry your gift/donation to the church and the goods need to be collected, please contact the church office on 01344 487744 to arrange a suitable day and time for us to pick them up).
Storehouse is run on a regular basis at our church building, South Hill Road, Bracknell. For the time being Storehouse is not being held. For more information about Storehouse please contact Eileen Charlton at the church office. |
