Activities at EBC

Easthampstead Baptist Church is a thriving organisation that runs all kinds of different events and activities. These include activities for children and young people, activities for older people, serving our local community, caring for those around the world, small groups, prayer and social events.

For children and young people...

Remix is our children's work for 2-11 year olds. It runs on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month at the same time as our 9.15am and 11.15am Sunday morning gatherings. Remix also runs childrens social events and other activities at other times. Click here for more information about Remix.

For young people we run Unity on a Sunday morning. It is available for those in school years 7 to 10 and it runs on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month at our 9.15am and 11.15am morning gatherings. Unity also run a monthly club for young people and various social events throughout the year. Click here for more information about Unity.

For young people who are in school years 11 to 13 we run Ignite. Those in Ignite join with us at our 11.15am Sunday gathering and then participate in a small group especially for them on a Monday evening. Ignite also run a monthly club for young people and social events throughout the year. Click here for more information about Ignite.

For older people...

For older people we run a whole range of activities: Lunch Club runs once a month on a Thursday lunch time and includes lunch and a speaker, Midday Munch also runs once a month and includes lunch. Transport is available. Please contact the church office if you would like to book your place for lunch.

On the third Sunday of the month we run a Songs of Praise style service at 4pm at our building on South Hill Road. The service includes interviews, songs and a short talk. Following the service at 5pm we serve a tea. Transport is available. Please contact the church office if you would like to book your place.

On the first Sunday of the month we have just launched Songs of Praise Plus which is very similar to Songs of Praise but allows people to go a bit deeper with God. We can provide transport if you need it. Please contact the church office for more details.

Every Thursday afternoon we run a group called Thursday Fellowship which includes singing and a talk.

Serving our local community...

We are passionate about serving the local community of which we are a part. We regularly go out and run action projects helping local schools or other organisations. If your organisation would like to book us in for an action project please contact us. In 2008 we were a part of Hope Bracknell when over 400 volunteers from local churches served the community. For more information about how we serve our local community click here. We are also involved in local, national and international relief work.

Prayer...

Prayer is very important to us as a church. As well as encouraging one another to pray as individuals we also get together in a variety of ways to pray. Please click here to find out more about these prayer times and opportunities.

Please do contact us by clicking here or come along to one of our congregations on a Sunday or to one of our social events... we would love to meet you.
