About Us At EBC

Easthampstead Baptist Church was established on its present site in 1962. Before this a small group of Christians met in their homes.

Today the church is a thriving organisation that exists to demonstrate the love of God through community activities, Sunday gatherings, children's work, school's work, social events, action events and prayer meetings.

Over 200 people (adults and children) regularly attend one of our 2 Sunday morning gatherings.

Chris Porter is our Senior Minister and we then have a number of other members of staff and leaders.

We aim to be a place where people can find out more about God and grow in their relationship with Him. We also want to be a church that is actively serving and engaged with our local community. You can read or download Insight our magazine to find out more about us. Click here to get Insight.

We are also involved in local, national and international relief work.

In 1997 our buildings on South Hill Road were redeveloped and we now have an excellent facility that is not only used by the church but also by many other professional and voluntary organisations that aim to help make life easier and better for the people of Bracknell.
