What is it?
Messy Church is an event for all the family. It gives busy families the chance to get
together, be a part of their local church and find out about God - and all in a fun way.
It's cooking, it's drama, it's art and crafts, it's eating together..... It's messy!
Although activities are designed for children up to age 11, older children can still be involved as well.
What happens there?
All activities are available for children and adults to do together. We start with a drink and a snack between 3:30 and 4pm and we get messy between 4 and 5pm. The activities are themed on Bible stories and when we've finished we all get together to see what everyone's been doing before enjoying a cooked dinner together and saying goodbye at 6pm.
We run two identical sessions each month, on a Monday and Wednesday, 3.30pm to 6pm. Please choose which day would suit you best and come to just one
of the sessions. You're always welcome!
Messy Church in March is postponed.
Be assured, we have no reason to believe anyone here, or in contact with us, is suspected of having Coronavirus. We are taking this step to reassess the activities we have on offer and procedures for serving dinner before the next Messy Church in April.
As a church, we are taking note of government guidance and are assessing our procedures on a daily basis.
We are currently expecting Messy Church to meet in April, unless this advice changes.
We will keep you informed of any changes to these plans.
