Steph Littlejohn is our Minister
Steph has been a part of EBC since the mid 70’s. She started working for the church as a Pastoral Assistant over 20 years ago and is now ordained and the part time minister; working alongside Simon Lace our Team Leader. Steph also leads our Elders team and has responsibility for overseeing our 'Life Groups' and pastoral care at EBC. At home she, enjoys gardening and loves to play in the church ukulele band. She is married to Don and has two grown up sons - Lewis and Liam
Simon Lace is our Team Leader .
Simon has been a part of EBC for many years. A Sports Science graduate and lifelong fitness enthusiast, Simon managed health clubs for about 20 years. He still likes to dabble in weight training and cycling, alongside other hobbies which include playing the guitar and fish keeping. Joining our staff team in 2009, Simon initially led our Senior Ministry before becoming Ministry Director in 2015, continuing to lead our Seniors work whilst also providing line-management to our Youth and Children's Ministries, Refresh Cafe and EBC Storehouse. In 2017, Simon was asked by the church to take on overall leadership of our church, working alongside our Minister, Steph Littlejohn. Simon is married to Claire and they have two children - Samson and Harry.
Philippa Marsh is our Ministry Director
Philippa has been a part of EBC since 2009. She enjoys being part of the worship band and creative arts team within the church and can often be found singing or being dramatic. She was a teacher in a local primary school before joining the staff team.
She is the proud mother of three children - Tom, James and Georgia.
Eileen Charlton is our Church Administrator
Eileen has also been a part of EBC for many years. Eileen is one of our leaders and also works as our Church Administrator overseeing all the administrative aspects of the life of EBC. She oversees the caretaker and manages the work they do looking after the building and setting up for the external organisations who use the building for meetings. She runs her own catering business. Eileen is married to Neil and has three grown up children and seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Fay Philp is our Social Action Team Leader
Fay joined our staff team in 2007 as our Administration Assistant. She works full time for us and looks after all the different administrative functions in the church. She has a daughter - Alison.
Kathryn Stephen is our Seniors Team Leader
Kathryn has been at EBC since around 2009 and joined our staff team in 2015. She moved into the Seniors Team Leader role in January 2017. Kathryn leads one of our Life Groups, and has previously been involved at Refresh and Messy Church. Originally from South Wales, she has lived in Bracknell for over 20 years. Her former career was as a General Manager and then a Management Consultant in the NHS. She has been a Brownie Guider for over 20 years, loves reading, enjoys needle-craft and has a real passion for music.
Kat Morling is our Lettings and Finance Manager
Kat has been at EBC since 2006 and started working part-time as the Treasury Assistant in 2012. In 2014 she took over the management of our lettings. Kat has a passion for mission abroad and enjoys travelling to help the world's poor. She has one daughter - Mai and a stepdaughter - Amy.
Kimberley Perchard is our General Assistant
Kim has been attending EBC since 2006. She used to worked in the catering industry before joining our staff team here as our General Assistant. Kim also volunteers at the local Childrens Centre's. She enjoys reading and ice skating in her spare time. She has a passion to see children grow up learning about God and knowing Jesus as their friend. She has a son called Ben.
Kevin McCarthy is our Caretaker
Kevin was born just across the road from EBC and his first visit to EBC was in the late 70's when he joined the Boys Brigade. He came back to EBC in 2014 and since then his life has changed dramatically. Before starting as the Caretaker, he volunteered at Refresh Cafe and helped with EBC Storehouse, which he highly recommends as the pleasure he saw on people's face really gave him such a buzz. Kevin enjoys building models and he has a passion for motorbikes. He has 3 children and two granddaughters.
