This last Sunday was one of our EBC Action Sundays. A couple of times a year instead of our usual Sunday morning services we head out and about for various action projects around the town. This last Sunday we had projects at some of the local schools, care homes and community centres. Some people went off on a pick litter pick around South Hill Park and some stayed at the church building to make up school bags to go off to Sierra Leone and to write cards to people around the world who are in prison for their faith.
It was a great day and we have already received lots of messges of thanks from those we were helping.
Action Sundays are a great way to put into practice what we so often talk about and to demonstrate in word and deed the love of God for our community and the people in it.
Thank you to everyone who took part, below are some photos from one or two of the projects.
