Let's Celebrate

After our morning service on Sunday 29th October, we are having a meal together at EBC to celebrate all we’ve been doing over the last year and to say a big thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers and staff who make it all possible!

Please do come along – the service itself will be a bit special and it will include interviews with people in various teams plus a few things to jog your memory about what we do as a church and what will definitely be some lively and upbeat songs!

We are of course famous for our food so it’ll be well worth sticking around for lunch – but we do need to know numbers so please make sure you let us know via the church office. 

I have to declare a bias, but I’ve noticed something stirring at EBC in recent weeks and I’ve been really enjoying the atmosphere during and after our various services and events. We’ve also had plenty of new faces appearing amongst us which is wonderful, so let’s not miss this chance to get together, get to know new friends and have some fun, food and fellowship together!

The special service on the 29th marks the transition to a new series called “Make A Difference” (you’d be – ahem – MAD to miss it… sorry!) and our Minister Steph and I really hope to see you there!

Before then , we have our Gift Day on Sunday 22nd when we have our Treasurer Rob Lea lined up to introduce what is an amazing talk by R.T. Kendall (I know, I’ve seen it!). Not forgetting this Sunday (15th) of course, as Karen Bugg - our brand-new Children’s Team Leader - continues our series on “The Power of Prayer”, ably supported by Colin and the band. Please do come along and join in!
