Activities and Events for older people
We run a whole range of activities and events for older people. These include lunch clubs, special services and social events. On this page you will find the links to all the information about these activities.
We have two lunch clubs (Lunch Club and Midday Munch) for our older people.
Lunch Club meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at our church building on South Hill Road in Bracknell (for details of how to find the building click here.) Transport can be provided for those unable to make their own way to the building. Lunch Club starts at 1pm and includes a hot meal. The lunch is followed by a presentation from a visiting speaker. We cover all sorts of topics including travel, lifestyle issues and faith. The cost is £3.00 per person.
Midday Munch meets on the second Thursday of the month at our church building on South Hill Road in Bracknell (for details of how to find the building click here.) Transport can be provided for those unable to make their own way to the building. Midday Munch starts at 12.30pm and includes a hot meal. The cost is £3.00 per person.

Songs of Praise Services
On the third Sunday of the month we run a Songs of Praise style service at 4pm at our building on South Hill Road. The service includes interviews, songs and a short talk. Following the service at 5pm we serve a tea. Please contact the church office to book your place. Details can be found by clicking here.
On the first Sunday of the month we have Songs of Praise Plus which is very similar to Songs of Praise but allows people to go a bit deeper with God. We can provide transport if you need it. Please contact the church office for more details.
Thursday Service & Fellowship
Following Midday Munch on the second Thursday of the month (see above) we run a traditional yet informal service at 2pm. We enjoy songs, prayers and a short talk, with tea and a bite to eat afterwards. The following week we meet as a Fellowship to chat, pray and sometimes sing together. We also have an annual coach trip (e.g. Kew Gradens). Newcomers are very welcome!
Every Tuesday afternoon we run a social club for older people at Crown Wood Community Centre. The afternoon includes refreshments, bingo and chat.
